CHALLENGES FACED

1. Fashion itself is a high risk for in times to come,every now and then, customer’s preference will change to prefer something elsemore. Pull and Bear has a total of 685 stores in 47 different countries.



Each of the countries has their own preference for fashion thus it varies for one another. When the clothes designed by Pull and Bear are not on par the country’s trend of fashion, their sales will decrease and with all the clothes of the previous and old seasons being unsold. Following the unpopularity of designs will be the seasonality. Pull and Bear clothes comes in seasons thus when the model and design gets outdated, people will usually stop their purchase of Pull and Bear clothes and wait for the next season design leaving the remaining clothes left on the shelve untouched, thus wasting the merchandise.



2.Another challenge faced by Pull and Bear will be the increasing number of new designers,brands and labels entering the fashion industry thus making it more competitive since there are much more choices for the people to choose from other than Pull and Bear as compared to before. Other than new competitors, existing competitors such as Ralph Lauren would also hold special promotion such as discount off specific designs of clothes occasionally to attract more customers to purchase their products. In this way, Pull and Bear will lose some sales as they may have lost few customers due the special promotion held by their competitors.
